I bought this book out of an interest in site specific art. However, I think I'm going to end up using it as a way of planning my vacations, because it documents so many interesting works in so many places, that no matter where you travel, you can find some example of a site specific work in the vicinity. For example, I'm planning to go to Paris soon, and the book lists 3 works in Paris, and others not far away, all worth considering. oooh i wanna go i wanna go. highlights about 50 sites around the globe of outside art (mostly outside that is) like guggenheim in bilbao, szoborpark in budapest, memorial to heroic sacrifice in london etc about 2-4 pages spreads of pics and explanations of what and why these are considered great art to see.
