I love John Christopher--but not this book. The most interesting plot line having to do with virtual reality never really happened or connected strongly to everything else that was going on. Too much character development and too little plot/action.

I didn't like this book much and had to give up in the end. I just couldn't be bothered to finish it. It took forever to get anywhere and the main character wasn't at all interesting. I only got about halfway through in the end.
