The Big Sleep Book
Everybody goes to bed, but not everyone sleeps in the same way. Some sleep high up in a tree, while others sleep under the ground. Some sleep hanging upside down, while some sleep all alone in their own little house. Others sleep all together. And little Josh sleeps in his bed, between all his cuddly toys.

We will all be relieved to know this is NOT a toddler version of The Big Sleep.
I find the illustrations excellent, they're solidly winsome, but the book made me arch a eyebrow right out of the gate because NOT everybody sleeps at night as the book claims. Some animals sleep during the time, some take short naps throughout, I think the key point is everybody SLEEPS. Fortunately I know how to read and Lucy doesn't, so I provide corrections as needed.
