Although a pretty large chunk of the book discussed "conscientious eating" (i.e. vegetarianism) and I'm not quite there yet since I love my meat, I thought this book was excellent and recommend it to everyone. A couple of major points which need to be refuted:
- Coffee, beer and wine are good for you, on balance, in the moderate amounts in which almost all adults consume them (google research findings by Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic).
