This is the first book I read with out having to read it for school. My Mother always had romance novels in the house. It was the summer between my freshman & sophmore year, we lived way out in the country with no friends close by I was driving my Mother crazy calling her at work. She finally said "GO Read A Book and Stop Calling Me" This was the first one I pulled out. For years I couldn't remember the name of this book. So glad I found it so that I can reread and remember why I love to rea ...more
"Lynx felt she would relent is he ardently tempted her, but that wasn't fair" - Respect.
I love this man so much for just saying those words. That's the first time for me to read in this genre where a man thought it won't be fair if he seduced her when she didn't want to. Like finally

I love this book. I love the author who wrote this book because for the first time in my life I didn't get infuriated while reading a book.

I love how Callie stood her ground, she didn't melt just cause he saved her
I love this book, it's long been a favorite. Although there were a couple things I have a problem with (view spoiler). I adored Lynx (also, love the name) he's a man of mystery and many secrets, but he's also caring, protective, tender, an ...more

As I read the reviews for this book I saw one by Zoe which is an almost identical account of my own. I read the book in my 9th grade year! It was my moms and til this day it is one of my favorite romance novels. I couldnt remember the name for years and when I finally did I bought it and read it several morr times since then. Timeless Passion is my second fave. Enjoy!

Very entertaining book. Great villains and lots of historic events and outlaws tied into the book. Felt as if Lynx and Calinda really did love each other. Although, he could have came clean about a lot of things sooner in the book. But then, don't misunderstandings drive the plot of most romance books?
i never thought i'd say this about a romance novel, but this one, to put it simply, was dry. the angst and heart-twisting horror was so over-the-top that eventually it didn't even register anymore: just another barrier between me and the end of this book.
This is a classic romance novel full of heart, depth, suspense, history and steamy love scenes. :)

“Lynx, why are you staring at me like that?" she asked. He straightened and shrugged. "I was just thinking how close I came to losing you. Now that I have you, Callie, I can't imagine my life without you."
