A VERY interesting polemic on the role of letter writing in the context of women-centered relationships amidst the backdrop of the second wave of feminism. It was not all lesbian lovey-dovey, the author argues, but very real attempts to bridge race, class, and circumstance to find some common ground by which to move the goals and actions of the feminist movement forward.
