A Christmas to Remember was a good light read while I was waiting for another book to arrive at the library. I haven't read any of the other books in Kinkade's series, so I was sometimes confused by the events and a few questions were left unanswered, which my mom has told me are answered in other books in the series. So if you've read the others, this book should be a nice filler.

There are a few character jumps that didn't quite seem right to me or I would mix up the characters because they had...more

This book has strong characters and a compelling story line. It jumps back and forth from present day to the 1950's which I really like. It was a hard one to put down, but the climax and resolution weren't quite what I'd hoped they would be and I felt like one of the characters storylines wasn't finished as far as it should have been. Some good life lessons though...overall a very good book.

I was looking for a feel-good Christmas book and found it in this Thomas Kinkade Cape Light book. Familiar characters and sentimental story. I read it during the holiday season - it was my unwind time at the end of long days. Not my favorite of the Cape Light series but it was fine.

I enjoyed this story, but the ending was so disappointing to me. I like everything wrapped up nice and neat at the end of a book and that did not happen in this story. Too many unanswered questions to leave me feeling happy.

So far I think this has been my favorite of this series. It still keeps with feel of the past books. I read it in one day. I couldn't put it down.

This was a good book - a little hard to follow at first - but it was a great read. I agree with Nancy - I would love to live in Cape Light!!

Great story with a 50's romance. But left out why that marriage fell apart :( I was hoping to find out why, but they never say!

Every series novel should have a warning that a book is part of a series. It was a good book just hate the unanswered questions.

I loke all of Thomas Kinkade's books. The characters are so believable and homey. His books are all "feel good" types.

Another good visit with my friends in Cape Light. Quick, easy read - almost a palate cleanser in between more serious reading.

More sweet miracles in this lovely little town...Finding a baby and then getting to keep her by someone who gave their own baby up for adoption 20 years ealier is just one of the story lines. I love how the author weaves prayer and relying on the Lord into the stories.

“Of course, you think you love him. You're barely twenty-five years old. You're liable to think a lot of things." Lillian sat stiffly in her wheelchair, her gaze fixed on her granddaughter. "I thought you had some sense in that pretty head. Or you would at least, at some point, wake up and smell the coffee."

Sara crossed her arms over her chest. "I did wake up and smell the coffee. Just this morning. Luke makes wonderful coffee. He uses fresh beans."

Lillian made a sour face. "Please! Spare me the details of your honeymoon. Too much information, as the teenagers say."

Lillian appeared to have recovered her energy for arguing, despite her casts and the bruise around her eye that had turned an amazing shade of bluish purple.”
