Beautifully written. So clear, so interesting, so poignant. This book reminds me of my own personal journey and dilemma around whether to stay in the workforce or become a stay-at-home mom, a decision that was fraught with emotional baggage in the 1970's -- when this book is set -- and still is today. You feel what the main character is feeling, and see through her eyes. Kotker is a gifted writer.
