This is one short book. I read about 1/3rd of it in the car on the way home from the library. And though, while a short read, it was also an interesting read. Having seen quite a number of documentaries, the usual grainy distant photos and all the requisite Sasqua-ploitation films WUSA has to offer on the subject, it was interesting to hear directly from the source. I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in cryptozoology, and time constraints.

I got some big guffaws out of this one. Even though the illustrations are cartoonish, it is definitely an adult book in language and content. Find out the real deal behind the misunderstood forest dweller that is Bigfoot, told in his own monster vocabulary. My favorite part was the page illustrating the range of Bigfoot as an actor: Raisin...Puzzled Hobo...Douglas Fir...Lawyer who have invisible goblin friend. Fans of parody and satire, take note.

I saw this on the "best sellers of 2006" shelf at my local bookstore, was intrigued, picked it up, and proceeded to laugh harder than I had in a long time. Bigfoot as a paparazzi-stalked, carousing, now washed-up Hollywood celebrity is one of the most wonderfully ridiculous things I have seen in a while. I bought three copies because I knew I would want to give this to friends.

I gave this to Jason for Christmas then ended up reading it myself. Did you know that Bigfoot thinks his fame reached it's height in the 70's and 80's and and that he used to party with Morris the Cat. And that he's allergic to dogs. And he cries in the bathtub. Cray-cray! Seriously. I think I said I would try to read ten books over winter break, So can this count as one of them? Please.

I used to keep a copy of this stashed under my desk at work and flip through it when I was angry/depressed/working. I eventually bought it and put it on a shelf because I had trouble keeping a straight face just *thinking* about this damn book. Now I keep a Johnny Ryan comic under the desk and it's EXACTLY THE SAME. Oh, and "MODERN TOSS."

A very cerebral, erudite, extremely well written and researched memoir that sets the record straight about this grossly misunderstood creature. While somewhat dryly scientific and intellectual, it is at the same time palpably tender and almost sentimental. And if you don't like it, Bigfoot will eat your face.

This book makes me laugh and laugh. I don't actually own it, but my friend keeps it on her coffee table, and I reread it every time I visit her.
Yeah. It's a bit of a conversation crusher while she waits for me to put it down again.

Me life so interesting it get featured on VH1 Behind the Music but then cancelled for censorship reasons, not because of Milli Vanilli lipsynch scandal as reported in stupid Time magazine.

T loaned this one to me to read. So freaking funny - I loved it :) I read it while at lunch one day and looked like the crazy girl laughing to herself. I couldn't help but finish it in one sitting!

LOVED this book. My good friend, Carrie, brought it home while we were living together in Minneapolis. It became our coffee table book and brought much happiness to our home.

This book is hilarious, though not quite as brilliant as In Me Own Words. Poor Bigfoot has reached rock bottom... and he knows it. Just please don't tell him he stinks.

The follow up to In Me Own Words. If you hated that one, you're probably not going to have any better luck with this one. But I sincerely loved that one. So, lucky me!

Great humour, great art work. Meant for anyone who spend that night out in the forest and wondered if it was only bears that we need to be worried about.

Not quite as good as "In Me Own Words" but still hilarious. This was a birthday gift, so I didn't have to steal it.
Steal it, read it, laugh it, love it.

Saw this at a comic store, and after flipping through it had to buy it. The humor has all levels, and honestly the darkest moments are the best.

Bigfoot helped me learn that forest creatures can be mean but you can always rip their heads off on the red carpet later.

I give this one 4.499999 stars because it made me laugh out loud -- a lot -- and that very rarely happens.

So disappointing after "In Me Own Words." I think the acclaim from Big Foot's first book went to his head.

Better than the first, if only because it's twice as long.
