Rebecca McNutt
This book holds numerous pieces of early American pop culture history, many circus posters, from the now dated "freak shows" to the exotic animals of faraway lands. While early circuses often had a not-so-glamorous reality beneath the glitter and glitz, society's imagination was replicated on advertisements all across North America.

These books make me happy. The artwork is reminiscent of the boxing card artwork.
