This was a good story to read while wanting my kids to learn to swim. Tuck is cute and relatable, and he overcomes his fear because he loves something more than his fear of the water.
My four and six-year-old enjoyed it.

Tuck doesn't like the pool because he is afraid of going underwater. His spider falls in and he has to save him by going under. He faces his fear and begins to love the water. Good for a lesson on trying new things. Also good for twin consonant words.

my child is like the main character in this story. I'll have to check it out again this summer when we're trying to get him to be comfortable in the pool

A story of a little pig taking swimming lessons and how he learns to overcome his fear of water getting in his ears and eyes. Rather sweet.

Pretty average illustrations.

I got this book to try to ease the boys' fear of getting into the pool. It didn't, but they still like the story, especially Tuck's pet spider Snyder.
