any Douglas Adams fan who knows where his/her towel is
I received Don't Panic: Douglas Adams & the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as a birthday present & eagerly devoured it this week. Equally a biography and an examination of Adams' body of work, the original version of Don't Panic was written in 1987 by Neil Gaiman, with additional chapters added by David K. I enjoyed this book. It is an easy read. And, this is very entertaining at least. Join Arthur Dent and his friends in adventure hitchhiking around the universe. Be sure to bring a towel as it is the best thing for a hitchhiker to carry and stay away from those Vogons and their deathly poetry. Come join in and find the answer to the unknown question of the universe.

It seemed like a winning combination. Neil Gaiman writing an autobiography of Douglas Adams? Sign me up. But it didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, so it wasn't really as interesting as it could have been.

Honestly, I'll probably never read this all the way through. I read the first few chapters and didn't find it interesting. I only kept it because Neil Gaiman wrote it.

Just found out who wrote this! When I read it I didn't know who Neil Gaiman was! NOW I KNOW why it is that he reminds me so much of Douglas Adams!

Behind the scenes of the Hitchhiker's universe, and inside the head of its creator. Must read for fans of the series and the author!

This book was actually my first experience with Neil Gaiman's work, before I knew who he was. Very enjoyable for what it was!

Anyone... well anyone I thought was smart.
This book is hilarious, though you have to be kinda smart to get some of the humor. Fortunately, I'm really smart.
