While I disagree with the author about CONVENTIONAL medicine (we have opposite opinions on whole grains and saturated fat and the like), I did find the book to be a pretty good overview of alternative medicine. Conversational and light in tone; easy to read. Dr. Rosenfield is not quick to condemn any treatment unless he perceives the risks to outweigh any possible benefit. I don't recommend following his diet/nutrition advice, but the rest is pretty good.
