This is a great book for anyone who's ever wondered why it's so difficult to get good, innovative public projects to come to fruition. There is a lot of painstaking detail to follow, but that's sort of the point. It really takes you inside the details of the project. And from a personal perspective, having interacted with several of the players involved, I trust the author's reporting.
