In my opinion, this book is outdated. The name of the book makes you think it will be helpful but it really is for women who are getting divorced. I'd say 75% of this book is aimed at middle aged or older women who are facing serious life changes such as a divorce or the death of a husband. However, I would recommend anyone thinking about getting married to read this book. It will let you know how screwed you are if you decide to be foolish and depend on a man for sustenance.
