Claire Treemont is a small-town coroner with a small-town social life -- as in, nonexistent. When a yummy body enters her life one night at the county morgue, Claire is astonished to find she's pretty sad he's dead. I mean, honestly, how often does someone like her get to gaze upon a body like that?

Zachariah Kowalski's got an affliction that has him waking up in places tha

same cover as Starjacked by Karin Shah! idk if thats a big deal or not but i just noticed it.
I found this totally amateurish, completely cliched, absolutely predictable and really rather pathetic.

For Claire Treemont, life as a small-town coroner doesn’t have many perks, but a sexy man on her table is one of them. Too bad he’s dead…

Coroner Claire Treemont is at work in the County Morgue one night, just minding her own business. Ok, so she was doing a bit of ogling while taking preliminary information on her latest, uh, patient. But generally, she was just doing her job. That is, until her patient pulled a mind freak on her and opened his eyes and spoke...

funny, good characters, but very very short. Didn't have much time to really get into the story & the character development. Really funny, sarcastic. A abrupt ending, but it might be my Nook version. If a book 2 were to come out, I'd check it out.
This was an okay read for me. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. A vampire with narcolepsy also feels sooooo wrong to me, even though it matches the humor in the book.
Lets sum this up in one word shall we :) HOT :) LOL. Enjoyed these 2 novellas :) Have a few other of Dakota's backlisted books I want to read :)
