Recommends it for: Floridians
This is an ESSENTIAL book for Floridians. Not only does it tell you how to make surprisingly great meals without electricity, it even gives you a shopping list so you know what to buy before the hurricane hits. BRILLIANT book.

Plus, it's published by Pineapple Press. Everything they publish is worth buying.

There are some good ideas and recipes found within this book. I found a couple of items I want to purchase just so I can be prepared for no power.

How to make meals when your power is out ... interesting ideas and information. Very creative recipes. I think I was expecting something else. If your power goes out a lot, especially for long periods of time, this book might be very valuable for you.

Excellent book for those of us who don't fancy eating Spam and Vienna Sausages when we are without electricity. With hurricane season approaching, this book provides an excellent shopping list for anyone's survival stash.
