This wasn't one of my favorite Annette Blair books but it was still a good read. I have a hard time with the story line that revolves around people denying their abilities - which concidering those abilities are paranormal I guess I should be more sympathetic - but I kind of feel like it's waisting time to blather on and on about - How can this be? when it is - so just suck it up and move on. (run on sentence much?)

Bitching aside I think these books are fun and they have steam heat w More...

My Thoughts:

I love this series! This is the final book in the Accidental Witch Trilogy, the story of Victoria - best friend to Melody (of The Kitchen Witch) and Kira (of My Favorite Witch) and her handsome Scot - Rory.

The interaction between these two characters is hilarious - witty banter, sexual attraction (and frustration).
Both are going through some serious cases of denial! Vickie denies her heritage, magical abilities - even though her rhyming is remarkable! More...

This did not get put in paranormal although it features a witch and a curse from the past because it really didn't have much of the paranormal in it. It had a bitchy heroine who hated her body and men because she couldn't accept herself. She kept accusing him of not accepting her but the hero was more accepting of her than she was herself. As a child of an anorexic you would think she would have a better balance on a healthy body image instead she whines about how people refuse to love her be More...

I really love this series, The Accidental Witch Trilogy.

From Publishers Weekly
Despite her best attempts at denial—"I am so not a witch"—Victoria Cartwright has inherited a legacy of magic, along with the key to a mysterious wardrobe, in Blair's third Witch novel (following the bestseller My Favorite Witch). Upon her beloved grandmother's death, Vickie receives the magic key to grandmother's old wardrobe—never before opened—and a promise that it contains Vickie's dest More...

Victoria Cartwright is a hereditary witch who prefers to deny her heritage rather than embrace it—until the day she opens her grandmother's locked wardrobe and discovers a carousel unicorn inside. From that point on, her carousel dreams, which previously starred her and a sexy Scot in kilt and full Scottish regalia, become even more vivid until Scotsman Rory McKenzie showed up on the doorstep of her little Salem, MA antiques shop a few days later, having traveled all the way from Caperglen, Sco More...

I read the "Triplets" books before I read this series. Actually, the only reason I even read this book (and the 2 previous) was to read Vickie's story and to see how the triplets stories got started. I absolutely hated "The Kitchen Witch". The 2nd one, I loved. This one was pretty good. It doesn't compare, in my opinion, to Kira and Jason's story, but it was still a nice, quick read. I like how everything came together at the end. Not exactly what I expected, but written wel More...

I really liked The Kitchen Witch and I liked My Favorite Witch. And I honestly did like one but I found this one slower then the others. Vickie had such image issues it bugged me, from the description she was probably not bigger then a size 10 and she kept saying she was big. I like this author and I like the way she writes. But Vickie was a bit sad. She was unsure of herself, her powers and how people felt about her. I hate when people are like you obviously do not love me because I have issues More...

I read these out of order, a no-no for me, but it got me hooked on Annette Blair's series of witchy stories, which are light, quick reads that are good for a entertainment, though not enlightenment. If you want a brain vacation, this is one to pick up and enjoy for the simple pleasure of escaping for a short time into a book.

This one had the most magic in it, which usually would put it higher on my list, but the characters grated on me. My least favorite of the trilogy. It also seemed like more of a intro to the author's next series involving 3 witch sisters. It was OK, and you do get to see cameos from the MCs of the previous books.

A wonderful end to the trilogy and a good start to the next trilogy about the triplets. A great love story that goes beyond time and brings soul-mates together. I loved Rory and Vickie's story. It was interesting to watch it unfold. They were very well matched. Can't wait to see how the triplets far in their trilogy.

This was a very sweet book! I got a little teary eyed at the end. It was a light quick read, just what I needed. I didn't read the first two books of the series and didn't really feel lost at all

This is the first Annette Blair book I read, and it's the one I compare all others to. Sadly, a lot of them fall short. This one gives me warm fuzzies anytime I even think of the book and I couldn't tell you how I found it in the first place.

I had the kitchen witch at home and never actually got around to read it...but I saw this book and read this (the third of a series) and fell in love with the series....so now I gotta read the others!

It was really cute and filled with a lot more magic than the first two books but with less funny situations and things.
But I still liked it. I like to see what Victoria is like. I only knew her from the first two books and she had very little appearences there. Her story was sweet and kinda like that story every girl dreams of: finding the knight in shining white armour which comes to rescue the fair maiden. ;)

nice story about nice people who just happen to be witches living in Salem,Massachusetts. Main heroine falls in love with surly, suspicious scotsman with ulterior motive. happy ending.

Meh. Light and breezy. The whole felt disjointed to me. There just seemed to be a disconnect between scenes. I've read the others in the series and certainly enjoyed them more.

3rd in the Witch series. Victoria inherits a key that will open a wardrobe if she has inherited her many greats grandmother's powers. It opens, but she still clings to the belief that she isn't a witch even when a perfectly preserved carousel unicorn is found inside.
Rory is ostracized by the village that blames his family for their bad fortune. He will do anything to return the unicorn to the carousel and restore his family's honor.
The meeting of these two is alternately funny and anno More...

Are you looking for a thought-provoking, historically accurate tormented love story? Then this isn't the book for you! If however, you are after a light, fluffy and entertaining (if slightly forgettable) read, then "The Scot, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by Annette Blair is the book for you.

The third in the Accidential Witch Trilogy, it is in the same vein as both "The Kitchen Witch" and "My Favourite Witch". Inplausible yet entertaining. This isn't the More...

This book was just okay. I enjoyed the first two a lot more. The ending was very predictable from pretty much the beginning. I put this book down for a couple weeks just because I lost interest. I eventually picked it back up to finish because I'm really interested in reading the follow up series.

A cute lighthearted romance. PG 13 rated in the sexual dialog between Rory and Vickie. I time filler read for those 15 minute breaks at work and during lunch. I liked it but not enough to read books 1 and 2 in the series about Vickie’s sisters finding love and marriage.

This final book in the Accidental Witch Trilogy is an enchanting, light-hearted and magical read (perfect for the upcoming Halloween season). Vickie and Rory's relationship is laugh out loud funny and the ending all comes together perfectly to create Ms. Blair's Triplet Witch Trilogy.

Even though this book could be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the previous two books in the series with Vickie's sisters, Melody and Kira's stories.

This is one of the most awful books I have ever tried to read. I couldn't stomach reading past the 3rd chapter. The way the story line is written, makes the characters talk and act like pre-teens. It was very immature and too much talking, not enough story line.

I have never stopped reading a book because of the way it was written was like nails on a chalk board, but here's my first.

Another lovely addition to the accidental witch trilogy! I almost wish it wasn't done so soon! I love all the characters and the journey they went through together! I've finally finished the whole series! This book gave me quite a few chuckles and girly squeals. The passionate affair between our girl Vicky and her man are 2 thumbs up. Really enjoyed Blair's books. Hope she writes more!

Rory is searching for a lost unicorn carousel figure to redeem himself in his Scottish village's eyes. He finds it in posession of Vickie, whom he has dreamed about.

Better than the previous one. Rory and Vickie are cute and interesting together, but it's still slightly strange. The magic components are better integrated in this book. The triplets are unexpected.
