Was semi-useful as I prepared to give a toast at a good friend's wedding. The glossary of quotes in the back was almost too cliche, though, to even be worth considering. That, or for the few quotes that weren't too cliche -- they were just too depressing. References to divorce? No, really, let's leave that at home the day that they pledge their love to one another.
Got this book to help myself feel more prepared for my sister's wedding! At which, of course, I'll be giving a toast. Mostly stuff I already knew about how to prepare and give a presentation and get over stage fright. I agree with some of the other reviewers who commented that the quotes in the back are not very useful (since I'm not the sort to do a bunch of quotations anyway) and some of them are I think inappropriate for a wedding toast.
