In this educational book, Richard Scarry explains the myriad uses of air, using his trademark informative illustrations and slapstick humor. Bound to be a favorite of children (and adults!) entranced with the idea of flying—whether by airplane, helicopter, balloon or spacecraft.

The lunar voyage, with astronauts Wolfgang Wolf, Benny Baboon and Harry Hyena (and Lowly Worm as the obligatory stowaway) ranks among my three favorite Richard Scarry stories ever.
