OUT OF PICTURE is a graphic novel anthology series just like the Flight series, except the format here is much larger.
The featured artists are Greg Couch, Daisuke Tsutsumi, Andrea Blasich, Vincent Nguyen, Daniel López Muñoz, Nash Nunnigan, Michael Knapp, Benoit le Pennec, Robert Mackenzie, David Gordon and Peter de Sève.

Out of Picture was just released in December of last year, but it already has a long publishing history. An anthology put together by a group of artists from Blue Sky Studios, the animation studio behind Robots and Ice Age, this new edition from Villard is actually its second printing, from its second publisher. It was released originally in hardcover at MoCCA (the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art) in 2006 by French publisher Paquet, but I suspect the book has been around for even longer than tha...more
A more personal sampling from a group of animators who make more public and perhaps more trivial work. Nicely arranged, some of the pieces are really fantastic. Obviously a 'sweet and tender' offering.
Very nice art - some of the stories should be longer
Beautiful art makes up for somewhat empty, unfinished plots. Still, worth a look.
A very good set of small, short stories. Very enjoyable read, and works to encourage my own creativity.
