I did really enjoy the part of the fable that told how the stars were formed. Otherwise, it was a kind of hit me over the head with messages: vegetables are good, diamonds/wealth is overrated, young small people can get the job done. The story was okay, as were the pictures, but this isn’t one of my favorites. Each of the messages have been communicated better in other children’s books, I think.
