This book was the best of the 3. Olivia, like the other women, is haunted by a crime in her past, she witnessed her sister being kidnapped. This one tragic event changed the direction of her life.

Working for the FBI, Olivia does her best to process the evidence to put people in jail, when one day her worst nightmare comes true. The man that was arrested for kidnapping and murdering her sister was cleared by old DNA evidence.

This blow sends her in a tailspin. She g More...

This was the best book in the trilogy. I really liked Olivia's character, I found myself hoping for a nice HEA for her. The hunt for the killer was thrilling and kept me turning the pages. It was also nice to see Quinn and Miranda in this one. I feel like those characters had a much bigger connection to Olivia and Zack then the characters from the first book. It felt more cohesive.

Zack and Olivia's relationship bothered me on some levels. They were very compatible, but there were cer More...

Good mystery, terrible main character. Olivia once worked for the FBI and now works for the crime lab. When Olivia was five, her 9 year old sister was abducted in front her. The body of her sister was found a few days later. Little Olivia identified the killer from his tattoo; he was convicted & sent to prison; case closed. Almost. Years later, DNA frees the man and Olivia is worried that the real killer is still out there. Great premise. Olivia, however, is a basket case. How did she ev More...

The Kill was another hit from Brennan ... loved it! I really can't wait to get some other books by her, she has an amazing storytelling talent. Like the other two books in the Predator series, this one kept me guessing from the first to the last page. I will absolutely read it again ... give it a shot if you're looking for an awesome murder mystery. Great book!

34 years ago, 5 year old Olivia watched as a man kidnapped and murdered her older sister. Based on her testimony, a man went to jail....and with new DNA testing, the wrong man. She realizes that a predator has been on the loose for 34 years. She is able to figure out where his killing zone is currently at. She ends up working with homicide Detective Zack Travis.

The clock is ticking and the race begins to find the monster before he finds his next victim and disappears. Olivia finds he More...

A good ending to the trilogy. My only problem was the subplot. It seemed completely unnecessary and only served to add an additional 40 pages or so to the story.

All three books follow the same pattern, only different characters and circumstances. Not really a bad thing, but a few differences, some red herrings... something... would have been welcomed.

Just two boooks removed from the awful "The Prey". You can see that Brennan's writing skills are improved, but there are still just too many "wet panties" scenes. This is a lot like watching an afternoon soap opera. What good story lines are there are buried under layers and layers of angst.

I read The Prey and thought it was fairly good. The Hunt was okay, too but The Kill is so slow, I didn't even bother finishing it.

The story just went on and on with nothing of interest developing so that it was neither a romance nor a suspense. The H & H were boring and unattractive, Olivia really ought to be in therapy and Zack would have been better off without that obsessive woman in his life.

It didn't help that a personal dislike of mine -romance heroines older than e More...

Very good romantic suspense. It made me cry in the train too, so you've been warned!
Off to buy the other two books in the series (yes, I know, I'm not reading them in order - blame the Kindle app for not showing any details whatsoever).

Not my favorite of trilogy, but still excellent. Another romantic suspense novel that keeps you guessing and is heavier on the suspense than the romance. The pages will fly by even though it's a thick book.

Great book! I loved this book, kept me on the edge of my seat. Allison can really entertain her readers. Highly recommend this trilogy if you like this genre.

This trilogy was good...I would recommend it to my fellow true crime / forensic friends...although not true crime, it was still a pretty good read.

Not very exciting for me. Fans of Fiona Brand, Linda Castillo or Andrea Kane will love reading this thriller mystery. 1/5 stars.

Good easy to read novel, easy to figure out the ending though so I only rated it 3 stars.

This one was my favorite of the first trilogy. It has all the suspense that one could want in a book. My only criticism in the romance content at the end of the book. It seemed to go on a bit after the whole mystery was solved.
I know it was a romantic suspense, and that Allison started her writing career in romance, but for me, it was just a little too much.
Overall though, a great read.

I'm not going to say wow again. Oh yeah I just did. This trilogy has turned out to be fabulous exciting edition to my library. I can't wait for Allison's next book. She's got a fan in me and I shall be snatching up her books as they come out.

This is one trilogy you should miss especially if you love an excellent romantic thrilling suspense.

The weakest in the trilogy. Plot doesn't move, characters are not engaging, romance is stale and forced. I never really got into this one. Her trilogy after this one is much stronger.
