This was really easy to read and understand. The author includes personal stories and clinic participant stories as well. I really like the red, yellow, green light graphic that he uses to illustrate the foods. I was looking for a book that easily explained the glycemic index plan and this one did it.
A couple times a year I read a diet book seeking new ideas about healthy living. The G. I. Diet Clinic by Rick Gallop is an interested book, but doesn't really contain much new information. It does a nice job discussing the glycemic index in the first few chapters, but seems to ignore the idea for the rest of the book.
