"The Beader's Color Palette" by Margie Deeb confirmed my sneaking suspicion that Margie is a genius. I love the transference from a photo, painting or illustration into a beaded design using a similar color palette. Anyone that knows me knows that I love photos. I love taking photos of nature as well as my friends, family & dog. How interesting is it to think that I can take a photo of my beloved dog and transfer the color palette into a beaded design or what about a wedding, a birth, a camp ...more
Rhonda the craftsmanship displayed in this book is amazing. while there were some items i would never consider wearing, i recognize the talent and creativity and still what a great idea for choosing a palette. the authoe uses photos from nature to capture colors which are really beautiful together and which really convey a feeling or a memory. what a lovely book.

Recommends it for: Anyone
Had this book for awhile and not a day has gone by where I have not read a few pages each day.

I am not a beader as such, but saw this book in the bead shop and realised it's potential as a spring board to use in my mixed media projects and boy has it inspired me!!!

Check this book out if you can,you will be surprised at how inspiring one book can be!
