The depth and class of Wayne's World is sinfully delicious and the comic writing was genius. Best of all is that I have had this book for ages and it has that wonderful smell of having sat in the garage in a box for ages. This smell is nostalgic of the way books smelled in a garage covered in stuff from Jr High at our house growing up. I don't even know how to describe the smell--old and dusty will do. Sniffing this book almost brings a tear to my eye.

Wayne's World is responsible for a huge part of my sense of humor. I saw the first movie in the theater for my birthday (thanks, Mom!), and received this book later on. I read it between 3 and 4 dozen times in the first year of ownership.

I admit my rating is a little bogus--I did a little dance when I saw an ad for the DVD box set of the movies--but for those children of the early 90's: I think you know what I'm talking about. It's excellent.

I have read this book so many times, but I think it's time it was passed on to an op shop. There's some good content in here but, unfortunately, a lot of the pages are just filler. The quality of the photography is lacking in places as well, giving it a bit of a cheap tie-in feel. A fun read for fans, but there's not much to it.

Worth it just for the recipe of Kraft dinner with hot dogs cut into it.
