So so good. This is the book to read if you really want to get your feet wet in the EZLN. Many of the stories, especially the Abejas for whatever reason, have haunted me for years since reading this book. I still get chills imagining sub Marco riding out of the hills of horseback to deliver his communique. Ross is an excellent journalist and writer and is comfortable enough with the subject matter to make difficult subject matter seem easy to understand, know, and empathize with.
