Liz Beasley holds an MFA from Bowling Green State University and a PhD from the University of Georgia. She recently relocated to Durham, NC and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at North Carolina Central University in 2007-2008. Currently she works as a Managing Editor for Duke University Press.

Her poems have appeared in a variety of journals, including Pleiades, Green Mountains
