There is a reason this book is titled Paparazzi Princess. When Kaitlin’s show is canceled, she is getting a lot of bad advice and she caves in to peer pressure. Oh Kaitlin, I am so disappointed. I felt like I could always count on you to be a good role model. This time around, you went off the deep end hanging out with the wrong crowd and making bad choices.

I don't remember where I found this title, but once I picked it up, I realized that this was book 3 in a series. I was so disappointed! I was even debating tossing it back and rerequesting it after I had read the first few, but decided against it when thinking about other YA books I had read out of order and it wasn't too bad. And this wasn't too bad! An entertaining read if anything.

A light, quick read (I did it in one day). I grabbed it off of the "new books" table at the library on a whim and didn't realize that it was actually the fourth book in a series, however, aside from the mysterious incident in Vegas it did a pretty good job of standing alone.

The latest installment of the "My Hollywood Life" series, in which teen actress Kaitlyn has to deal with her hit show going off the air after 15 years and struggling to figure out what to do next in her career. She ends up falling in with two of Hollywood's biggest partiers (who I'm sure are based off Paris and Nicole...) and begins making headlines for her company and life more than her career.

Kaitlin Burke is under a lot of pressure, FAMILY AFFAIR is about to go off air and she have been on it since she was in kindergarden so she has a lot of memory of it, her parent, Lancey and Nadine are pressuring for her to find another big job and Kaitlin and her best friend, Liz, are fighting. Ava and Lauren seem to understand Kaitlin. Kaitlin starts hanging out with them. But they are party animals and they don't really have good press about them self. People are starting to give Kaitlin some ...more
I luv this series! This book was good, but not my favorite. I was excited to see what Kaitlin would do after her show is cancelled. But as she encounters wannabee Nicole and Paris's, it annoys me. I get how she just need a break, and sometimes you have bad friends and all, but why would she let it go so far? And I luved Austin, but lately he seems dull, and I wouldn't mind if she got a new boyfriend in the next book, and the whole seperation from Liz and Laney bugged me as well. There was a lot ...more
I grabbed this book on my way out of the library. I had no clue that it was part of series (this seems to happen to me more often than not, though). For having no background, I still thought it was pretty cute. My only complaint was with the main character Kaitlin (who has about 22 nicknames). She was almost too sweet and innocent for what she is-- a Hollywood starlet with a controlling/crazy mom. Perhaps if I had a bit more background I'd understand how she's so normal? Kaitlin is basicall...more
Okay, I'll admit...this series is starting to get a little...un-good. First of all, the main character talks like she's 25. Um, hello? Jen Calonita? You made your main character sixteen. STICK WITH IT. Even when she started her over-excessive partying stage, she talked to her friends like she was talking to the queen of England. A little advice to the author: Know your characters. Second of all, this book was majorly stressful. When the main character is stressed, so was I. Which is good emotion...more

Kaitlin Burke is finally experiencing something that everyone in Hollywood, at least those on the small screen, hates the most... having the show that made you a household name come to an end. That's right folks - Family Affair is finally coming to a close, and you know that's making the headlines on all the tabloids.

It took me 2 days to finish this book. Why? Well, first of all, it has this eye catching cover, which makes you want to bring this book with you wherever you go. Second of all, this isn’t just an ordinary series; it’s different than the first 3, very different—less drama, more Kailtin. Last but not least, its not a challenging book, you don’t need to carry a dictionary around you 24/7, because there isn’t any vocabularies that are difficult, well at least not for me.

Family Affair's ending is getting closer and closer and Kaitlin still hasn't decided what she wants to do after the show is over. Kaitlin's family and friends are pushing her in all sorts of directions and she's not sure what she wants. On top of the career trouble, she's also had a big fight with her best friend, Liz. Then Kaitlin meets two of Hollywood's biggest party animals. Hanging out with the girls seems like fun at first, but is it really worth all the drama?

In this book after Family affair is canceled Kaitlin is in total denial and sort of goes insane by hanging out with a bunch of backstabbing party girls and spending a ton of money. I liked it because it was realistic. She's feeling pressure like a normal girl only she's worried about finding a new career path and we're worried about the big math test next week. She screws up a few times but she comes back and is better than ever. Well she does have two new enemies....

Probably my favorite installment of the book series so far!
I'm so happy Kaitlin finally said NO, and stood up to her entourage/stress-makers. I'm so excited to read more books, because they keep getting better. I loved the reality (no pun intended) of Ava and Lauren. I've seen so many reality stars get caught with stolen property charges. They seemed like the vain, Hollywood girls you'd expect. It was getting a little unbelievable with how nice everyone seemed to be around Kaitlin!

Hmm, I liked this one. (= I've liked all the other ones, but moreso for the secrets revealed throughout the predictable plotlines. This storyline was also predictable, but I appreciated it because of its content-- a kid who dabbles with the dark side but ultimately comes out back on top on the right path again. Who doesn't like a humanity-affirming story like that?
I really liked this one from the series, probably more than the others. This one felt very authentic and true to how a young person deals with stress. Obviously this was magnified by a bazillion, but all the same, it was relatable. She fought with her family, friends, and kept it all bottled up until it became too much for her.
Ava and Lauren were obviously Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. It's fun how Jen Calonita wrote about people we recognize without actually saying their names. Bad ...more

Okay, so it's a cheesy, slightly preachy YA book about a teen celebrity who's panicked because her TV show is ending. But...she's likeable enough, if a bit one-dimensional, and it's a quick read--I LOVE it when I can gobble up a story in two hours flat. Plus, I got it for about $2.50 at the bookstore!
1.5
To be honest, Katie acts so naive and stupid in this book. I don't care if she's only 16-17, a normal teenager without all the real world, backstabbing, nasty co-actor/actresses could see through the transparent veil (WARNING! Minor spoilers!) Ava and Lauren put up.

Katitlyn now has to deal with Family Affair ending and friendship problems and now her new bad side front? Can she deal with the pressures? Let's just say i can't get enough of this series!
Stupid. Just plain stupid and lame. Every "Hollywood Secret" I learned from this story was what was already in my head. And the characters were so bland and damn annoying. Ugh.
Love this series!!! I get so connected to the characters, the plots are spectacular, it it's not like anything out there. A definite must-read.

This is such a great series. The books are a lot of fun and very cute. Paparazzi Princess, is my favorite of the series so far. The series is very clean, so they are an excellent choice for younger teens and middle grade readers.

Awesome ending! I thought this was the last book of the series but i flip to the back and saw that there was going to be a fifth book! I'm waiting for that!
This book was really great. If you liked the rest of the series, this one is sure to be to your liking also.
In this book, Kaitlin gets caught up in the worlds of "paparazzi Princesses" Ava and Lauren.
Amazing! FAMILY AFFAIRS is still my favorite book in the series, but they are all amazing!!!
This is a great series and this one didn't disappoint! I'm looking forward to reading the next one!
I didn't think this book was quit as good as the first books in the series, but it was still a good book. Light, fun, easy to follow. Just what I needed. Looking forward to the next one.
i liked this book but if i were kaitlin i would not haave let everyone push me around
