I thought this was a great book. Lots of practical advice from nannies who have cared for lots of children, so you know that they know what they're talking about. There are lots of sample conversations with kids and parents pulled from their show that showcase how to (and how to not) handle a variety of situations, which helps to instill enough confidence in the reader to say, "I can do that." Three kids at the time - almost 6, 2 years and 4 mos. and I had completely lost it! I was feeling desperate and not liking the mother that I was. Great book about teaching kids from birth on up. Discusses importance of family rules, chores, and talking WITH you child, not at them. I wish they would have had examples in the back for chore charts and family rules.

Okay I watch the show and get good hints now and then for my handful of a daughter, Rylee. I was super excited to get the book but was a little let down because they didn't go into to much detail or show pictures of the reward/chore charts. I see them use lots of different ones for the different types of families so I was suprised to not see some actual examples in the book. I need all the help I can get! They did however have a good chapter on communication that I found very helpful. Sometimes

sedikit kecewa sih sama isinya ternyata cuma deskripsi dari seri2 yang di tanyangin di TV plus review dan pembahasannya. actually saya berharap dapet langkah dan step2 yang jelas tentang strategi mengasuh anak ala "nanny 911". tapi lumayan lah buat tambah2 pengetahuan tentang bagaimana mengasuh anak.

Saw the TV series.. very fascinating. As in the word of my mum's friend, when something's wrong with the child, you must first fix the parents!
I hope I got the chance to be one someday, and won't let my child down (fingers crossed):D

My kid is great compared to some of these brats. What are people thinking when they procreate? No seriously, any parent would appreciate this book for it's practical wisdom and simple to use tactics in raising kids. I think it's a must read.

Another great parenting book. I don't watch the tv shows but seriously, these ladies know what they are talking about. I think I've tapped out the nanny book market.

I loved this book. It really helped us through some of the difficulties of parenthood. It gives step instructions on paretning techniques.
