Welcome to the world of Deidra "Juicy" Brown, a welfare recipient from North Philly, who had no bones about how she did it. At 30, Juicy has teenagers who she smokes with, parties with and competes with for the hottest guy in the strip clubs. Although her parenting is less than desirable, Juicy does the best she knows to teach her kids the facts of living a bon-a-fide hood life. Will Juicy drive `em crazy or does she finally tone it down?

this was a nice collection of three stories. One of the stories is about a woman who started having kids at an early age. It is a wild story, because her and her kids are like their own soap opera. It is pretty good. There is a story of a beautiful young lady who had addicts for parents. She grows up rough and ends up being a professional shoplifter. She finally meets someone who shows her that she can be happy. She changes her life around and everything ends up good. There are a lot of deep mom...more
The begining of the book is starting off good. I dont like the book talking in third person. I would rather the book writen like the character is the one actualy talking, it would make more sense to me that way. Some places in the book it refers to the past of Cream which is fine but i think it should be in a different chapter. Putting both present and past on the same page in the same chapter gets confusing sometimes. Otherwise the Book is starting off good.

I can't remember the 1st book in this series so besides the fact that I know I liked it (enough to keep reading anyway) I can't say much. I did just read 3, 4, and 5 in the past few weeks and they were all so-so. This was much better than 3, 4, and 5 combined. KaShamba Williams, Thomas Long, and La Jill Hunt definitely made me want to keep reading each of the three stories.
