Bwhahahahahaa. So bad. So very bad.

I think the heroine has a severe case of the Stockholm Syndrome and the hero inspires an urge to drop an anvil on his head. A man who blackmails a woman into marriage and tricks her into bed and then is confused why she is not falling for him is truly special. I read a review somewhere that said, specifically, that this was not a bodice ripper. I would disagree with that, and, therefore, this book was not for me.

It was the type of book where the hero, even though he claims to love the heroine, takes advantage of her again and again. He locks her up, strips her naked, tricks her into sleeping with him and just generally tries to dominate her. I've enjoyed many Sharon Green books but this one was really disappointing. Rianne was a very annoying female lead, as was Bryan as the male lead. Way too much angst and woe is me he/she doesn't love me (without either one actually asking the other what they felt).
