When Donn Taylor, professor of English literature and poetry, and suspense novel author submitted his article, Poetry Revival to the blog I edit for Northwest Christian Writers’ Association, I was intrigued.

On his post, Taylor traced the history of poetry through the ages and revealed its departure from skilled storytelling to avant garde esoteric writing which only appeals to a limited audience.
