I used this for my devotional time recently. I really enjoy the way Beth Moore challenges you and makes you think about each lesson. I especially liked the early parts of the book when she focuses on the time that John was able to spend in Jesus' presence. Makes me wish I could have been there too.
The format of the 90 Day Study Books are a great Bible Studies for self-study. Beth is know for challenging her reader to pick the Bible and study closer and of course writing it down. I did this study while recovering from a personal heart break.
I loved the format, it was short daily readings but still required me to think and answer questions. I also loved learning more about John. really enjoyed the reflection questions she came up with. Most of them were not predictable. I also don't think this book was a "spoiler" for the Bible Study - I'd still like to do that some day. beautiful book. so pretty I hestiate to write in it but I will. I've read the book and this is the journal/study guide. Really gets to know John, the Beloved
This was so good for my spirits. It always seemed like the devo touched exactly what I was going through that day.
