An excellent study of the Lord's prayer, line by line, bringing many fresh insights. A good combination of illuminating the historical context, plus modern applications.
My favorite chapter dealt with "thy kingdom come." I needed to hear the urging to let go of my own selfish "kingdom" so I could receive God's kingdom.

If your going to read this book I suggest that after you're done you could/should read his other one called Sacred Waiting: Waiting on God in a World that Waits for Nothing.
This is the BEST book I have ever read on the Lord's Prayer.
