By the British genius of Habitat fame. The photos alone inspired a complete redesign of my bedroom. Not bad! Lots of great unconventional, space-saving, and clever arrangements for rooms and furniture, from around the world. Loft beds, moving walls, great modern looking stuff. A big emphasis on vertical space, which I like.
A well-written idea book with lots of great pictures. Conran emphasizes concepts of pleasing and efficient design, all focused on tiny homes, apartments, lofts, and basements. A good read for getting out of a rut and cutting out wasteful things in your home.
Sir Terence Conran was educated at Bryanston School, Dorset, and trained as a textile designer at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London.
