Recommends it for: people in small spaces
By the British genius of Habitat fame. The photos alone inspired a complete redesign of my bedroom. Not bad! Lots of great unconventional, space-saving, and clever arrangements for rooms and furniture, from around the world. Loft beds, moving walls, great modern looking stuff. A big emphasis on vertical space, which I like.

Recommends it for: people with little money
A well-written idea book with lots of great pictures. Conran emphasizes concepts of pleasing and efficient design, all focused on tiny homes, apartments, lofts, and basements. A good read for getting out of a rut and cutting out wasteful things in your home.
If the society would have to live in small cubicles, Conran would have no problem in creating a loving home for everyone. This book is genius.
