I’m still making my way through this. It’s not like this book is super long (120+ pages). It’s just that it is not a quick read because it gives you a lot to think about, so I would not recommend this for the casual crafter. But, if you want to dig into your creative soul, now we are talking! See my full review posted at this link: http://tammypowley.com/?p=1051

Great book for inspiration and creative techniques for self-portraits. Includes interesting statements and ideas from featured artists. Lots of images and methods for creating your own self-portraits.

More good ideas. I am intrigued by the idea of a personal symbology. What do I think symbolizes me?

Since my drawing class is over for the summer, I have two projects to keep me busy for the next few months until classes start up again. One is to make an altered book and the other is to work on portraits especially self-portraits using the suggestions and techniques in this book. A worthwhile book.
