There are all kinds of diet books on the market. Whatever you want to try, there is a diet for it. Though I have not specifically tried the “No flour, No Sugar” diet by Dr. Gott, I have read the cookbook and found it extremely useful. Dr. Gott's No Flour, No Sugar Cookbook contains on overview of his diet, and general, useful information on healthy eating. The rest of the book us full of recipes of all sorts without any flours or sugars. For a sugar substitute in this book he regularly uses Splenda (which I prefer not to use, but know many people swear by). I'm sure this book and diet have helped many people. It is constantly stated throughout the book. However, it's not for me. I do not eat sugar, nor do I consume white or wheat flour so I had high hopes for finding successful recipes and menu ideas here. My food needs are more specialized than just "No flour, no sugar".
