i watch the anime version :
it is about Ten year old boy name Negi Springfield who has just graduated from magic academy. He have a dream to be a master wizard.
For that he sent to Japan to teach English at girls high school.
and the story begin ..
Volume 13 resolves the Budokai martial arts tournament, if not the cultural festival overall, and does a strong job overall. Some of the new characters do appear to be there just for the fan service, but it's still enjoyable.

The final rounds of the tournament are underway. Will the mages be outed? Will Negi make it to the final round? And who is the mysterious Ku:nel Sanders?
Pretty good volume in the series, really liked that there was more of a look into Negi's father even if things weren't exactly resolved.
