I may want to get this, easy for throwing into a knitting bag. I thought they wasted too much time on simple things like knit stitch, but I guess you kinda have to, and anyway what if you forget? Who knows.

I have the big Vogue Knitting book, and got this to keep in my knitting bag. It's basically the cliff notes of Vogue Knitting, but in a portable size.
This book was my bible when learning to knit. I would totally recommend this book for a beginner. Easy to understand and a great resource.
