I just started this, but it's nice to see some familiar faces--Denise Buffa covers the Bronx courts for the Post, so I see her around, and I was especially delighted to see my former union delegate brother and colleague, Bob Knightly, tucked in there. I may have to read his story first.

I have to say that I was not impressed with the writing. But I did learn some unsavory (and interesting) things about my new home.

Reading the local police blotter in the paper has now taken one gigantic step forward. I'm fascinated to read this, but we'll see if it's a wise decision. Do I want to know about crimes that takes place in my neighborhood?
