I loved how they fit the stories into ones you already know from the series.

Yesterday/today (it's always so confusing in the wee hours what to call the day~because i haven't been to bed yet so it doesn't really seem like yesterday~but anyway...) was kind of a bitch~i was feeling like shit (have yet another cold and so does Dixie~if cats do indeed get colds i'm finding/getting conflicting information on that front~but the fact that my twelve year old cat is sneezing and congested/having trouble breathing disturbs me terribly.)

Spike, the graphic novel, could have been a solid four star book or maybe even a five.
The graphics are fantastic. In most places they are presented well, but beyond that they drawings of Angel and Spike turned out quite well. Really enjoyable visually.

The stories though, kinda odd bits. One a bit on its own and seemingly pointless. The other two very loosely tied together.

A fun collection of tales featuring Spike that occur during the TV seasons of Angel and are interwoven with those stories. You also get to see more of Halfrek, Angel, Fred, and Harmony, and others more peripherally.

A fantastic anthology, giving some great backstories into Spike's story - including the story between him and Halfret. The illustrations are interesting, hovering somewhere between drawings and photographs. A great volume overall.

A wonderful glimpse into what Spike became after he & Buffy closed the Hellmouth. Still trying to do good, now cursed with a soul, and some hints as to who he was before... and who he has become.

The art is spectacularly ugly, but the stories are actually pretty good.
