A MILLION WORDS AND COUNTING by Paul J. J. Payack / Citadel Press 2008 / ISBN 978-0-8065-2858-8 / culture / completed 05.29.10 / A very superficial treatment of what could have been a very interesting topic. According to Payack’s count (made using software that samples and counts words as they appear on the web) there are now a million words in the English language.
