Mitchie is a 14 year old girl who wants to go to Camp Rock but her parents can't afford it but she ends up going but she has to help out int he kitchen and met Shane Gray.She wants to be a hit singer.It is a music camp whereyou go and they help you with your voice and help you sing better/achieve a music career.I feel happy when she goes to camp.I feel sorta mad when Mitchie lies to her friend Caitlyn and a popualar group of girls about her mom being a radio station host in China.

this book is a good life lesson for everyone, this book is about a girl mitchie she wanted to go to this camp and when she has the opertundie to do that, she makes new friends and she wanted to be popular but when she lies to make new friends that lie will come back to hunt her.
i learned from this book you should never lie to someone to make friends make friends by telling the truth

I think this book is a good book. its interesting and a funny book. if you like rock music you will like it.but is a long book. the book is about a girl that want to go to camp rock. but she dont want her friends to know cause they will make fun of her.

i like this book but i like the movie better.the movie shows when and how i think that you get a pic in your head when your reading after you whatch the movie you can name the parts it is really cool.
I diddn't like the book as much as the movie. the book (and the movie) are about a girl named Mitche who wants to go to this camp were she can dance and sing
It was pretty bad. Although it's not Lucy Ruggles' fault - books that are based on movies usually aren't very good, ever.
I watched this movie and loved it and later received it as a book. I have read this book about 6 more times!

THIS BOOK IS MY FAVORITE BOOK IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE CAMP ROCK YOU WILL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS I READ THE BOOK BEFORE I SAW THE MOVIE AND I AM GLAD I DID SO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOIE CAMP ROCK AND WANT TO READ THE BOOK READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU SEE THE MOVIE!

I read this with my 7 year old on the way to SLC. If you have a pretween it may be worth it just so you can see them smile.. or at least know what the "new" thing is. We had a lot of fun with it though.
