A dynamite book full of great images of Warhol and Co. circ the mid-60's. Just right before he got shot. The photographer Nat Finkelstein must have been like a fly in the wall - and the shots he got are really terrifric. What is unusual is that there are some photos in color - and rarely does one see Warhol in colkor in the 60's. Think about it!

As Lou Reed has wonderfully put it about the other book with Finkelstein's pictures: "Lousy text, great photos". This book also has great photos (of great people) and it's also slightly marred by a lousy text: Finkelstein's own misanthropic, profane scribblings.
Pictures - 5 stars
Text - 3 stars - He kinda came off kinda jilted
