Synopsis: Written by Kio Shimoku, the manga version of Genshiken is nine volumes long. It covers the lives of a college club of Otaku, but does it in a way that makes them seem real and interesting instead of the usual stereotypes.

Kio Shimoko writes funny, low-key, utterly believable characters, his backgrounds are meticulously, ludicrously detailed. Only one more volume to go, and I will probably cry copious, manly tears when it comes out. One of my favorite comics, ever.

Best of the lot of them! Sasahara reads Ogiue yaoi about him so she'll agree to date him. It is so cute! I loved it.
