The author puts across a beautiful message of how simple, open ended, and how similar it is to Christianity, Buddhism is. It's a great way to reassure someone who is new to the religion that you don't have to change your beliefs completely around if you're thinking about Buddhism. However, I was looking for literature with more structure in it to build my conclusions of the religion. This book didn't have it, nor did it leave me feel like I learned something new that I didn't already know about...more
Excellent place to start for those new to Buddhism; with the title being pretty descriptive of the contents. Definitely a book I'll be keeping for future reference.
Excellent beginner primer on Buddhism, especially for those from a Judeo-Christian background.
