I had this book for several years before reading it; it was not what I expected. Chapter one gives a narration of pre-flood life amongst biblical characters. Some parts seemed rather light, if not right out funny; like how Cain supposedly died, mistakenly shot with an arrow by his great great great great grandson. But then I realized that the writer claims to have studied Semitic sources such as the book of Jasher. Well, it seems these books are real and yes, that is reportedly how Cain died; go ...more
