This is a brilliant book - Nancy Bush is passionate about Estonia and it shows! She's written a definitive book about Estonian history, folklore, motifs, and mitten techniques.
Great in-depth technical information, including instructions for the unusual surface-design stuff in Estonian knitting. Interesting section on Estonian history also.
More interesting knitting patterns from the Baltic country of Estonia. Similar in many ways to neighboring Latvian patterns, this book includes socks and gloves as well as mittens. There are some interesting cast-on and joining techniques.
eye-candy! And well written, easy to follow patterns and directions. You can't go wrong with that combo!
Good geography & knitting
