I wanted to like this book, and really it deserves more than 1 star, but I'm not willing to say 'it was ok'.

Basically, this is a book written by a guy from the mid-west who moved to Coit Rd in the 80s and made all his judgments about Dallas then. His whole book is about North Dallas's fixation on downtown development to the exclusion of "minority Dallas" that he dubs south and west Dallas. This is where he started to lose me, because what is "West Dallas"? I think he means the 'La Bajada' area

Read a bit like a repetitive college paper. Had some good points about Dallas being more business central, but overall I took about a 16th of the book's info to heart.
